Want a part 3D printed? Just fill out this form, where you’ll upload your design, and we’ll process it for you! We review designs before printing and will let you know if it requires revision. Look out for an email we’ll send you once it’s ready for pickup. Please comply with all guidelines for smoothest turnaround.

Franco Zapata

I am the Lab Manager for the BME Makerspaces and a Design Engineer specializing in rapid prototyping and feasibility studies. My goal is to help you bring your ideas to life by making the design process approachable and efficient, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced maker. In my free time, I enjoy writing and stargazing, board games, and designing inserts and props for my board games.

Eva Beresin

I’m a second-year Biomedical Engineering major pursuing a minor in Industrial Design. I spend my free time getting involved with research, leading the arm design sub-team of the GT medical robotics club Team Limbo Mechanical team, weightlifting, and being involved in my sorority.

Igor Mataitis

I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering major, minoring in Industrial Design. While not studying or working, I enjoy biking/working on bikes, 3D printing, creating machines, anything Star Wars, and hanging out with friends. I am a current member of the Brazilian Student Association at Georgia Tech, GT Now, and do research at Georgia Tech’s Advanced Manufacturing Pilot Facility.

Caitlin Ramiscal

I’m a third-year Biomedical Engineering major with a minor in Industrial Design. I enjoy doing research with a rehabilitation engineering lab, being a member of the GT Filipino Student Association, and drawing or going to concerts in my free time.

Leo Lupo

I’m a second-year Biomedical Engineering BS/MS with a minor in Scientific and Engineering Computing. Outside the shop, I’m a member and the webmaster for both medical robotics and TEDx Georgia Tech. In my free time, I’ve been editing content for GT Survivor, and I’ve been having the urge to make something cool in our makerspaces, so let me know if you have any fun ideas!

Kaitlyn McCubbins

I am a Fourth-Year Biomedical Engineering Major with a Minor in Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am also a PI at The Invention Studio and skater for Yellow Jacket Roller Derby. Outside of campus, I enjoy traveling, attending game nights, and growing herbs.

Max Goddard

I’m a second-year Nuclear and Radiological Engineering major with a focus on nuclear energy and reactor design. I am also an Invention Studio Full PI and Electronics Apprentice (I also love machining and welding). In addition to my studies, I engage in nuclear cybersecurity research with the iFAN lab and criticality safety training development in/with the RSEL/ORNL/TAMU.

Nahreen Shamon Ayala

Hello, I am a second-year BME + ME student interested in biomechanics and robotics. Outside of the shop, I am an undergrad researcher in a neuroengineering lab, a team member on the aerocomposites subteam in HyTech Racing, and a member of the GT Amateur Radio Club. I love makerspaces and the local maker community.

Eli Scornik

I am a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering Major also pursuing a minor in Industrial Design. I love being active on campus and currently serve as an executive officer and project manager for the Medical Robotics Club. In my free time, I love weightlifting and playing guitar.

Brian Bowser

I’m a third-year Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. I currently serve as the Housing Manager for my fraternity and am an active member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). In Spring 25, I had the opportunity to study abroad. Outside of academics, I enjoy weightlifting, boxing, and studying languages.

Beatriz Menezes

I am a second-year mechanical engineering student with an interest in biomechanics and automation. Outside of the shop, I am a part of ASME, Wreck Racing, and the Brazilian Association. In my free time, I play music and spend time with my friends and family.

Truett Keener

I am a recent graduate of Georgia Tech with a major in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Economics. I am now in my first year of the MSBMED program in the Biomechanics Focus Area. My main areas of interest in BME are in Robotics and Medical Imaging systems. In my free time, I love to lift weights, read novels, and learn Spanish.

Kalob Flint

I am a fifth-year Biomedical Engineering student pursuing a minor in Health and Medical Sciences. Outside of the shop, I enjoy working out, gaming with friends, cooking, or golfing whenever I get the chance.

Sheryl Tan

I am a fourth-year student majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Chemistry. Outside of the shop, I do undergraduate research, and I am a part of the exec team and competition team with the Boxing Club. I also love to cook, hike, thrift, and travel.

John Yang

I am a third-year double majoring in pure math and computer engineering from New York City. I’m also a welding master at the invention studio and VP of GreyHat. I like to machine stuff, weld, climb rocks, and make computers go “beep boop.”

Kayla Ly

I am a third-year Computer Engineering major interested in cybersecurity and Telecommunications. What I do at the BME shop is assist other students with the electrical parts of their projects. I also serve as the secretary of the GT Amateur Radio Club and enjoy feeding the campus cats.

Cherry Gupta

I’m a sophomore studying Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering. I’m also a cluster leader for the VIP Industry Innovation | Circular Economy, where I work on creating sustainable product designs. Additionally, I’m really into robotics and spend a lot of time with RoboJackets. When I’m not working on engineering stuff, I love to paint and just be creative.

Shyam Pillai

I’m an MBID graduate student working in the urology space. I work part-time at Intuitive Surgical and serve as the Tech Lead for MedTech Hack. I completed my bachelor’s at GT in BME with minors in CS and ID. I love cooking or eating foo,d and run on the side.

Sunny Pamidighantam

I’m a master’s student in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Data Analytics. I’m passionate about robotics and electronics. I love helping bring ideas to life and supporting creative projects. Outside the shop, you can find me at the piano or rock climbing whenever I get the chance.

Kien Tran

I am a third-year Biomedical Engineering undergraduate student with a minor in Robotics. I’m involved with the GT Medical Robotics Club and enjoy diving into a variety of hobbies in my free time – plants, fish, guitar, and traveling.

I am a fourth-year Biomedical Engineering major pursuing a minor in computing and intelligence. Outside the shop, I serve as a teaching assistant for the Biomedical Engineering department. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, and taking care of my dorm plants!

Miranda Dahl

I’m a third-year Biomedical Engineering undergraduate with minors in Materials Science & Engineering and Health Policy & Economics. I also work as a TA for BMED 2310, and am an ambassador for BMED Futures! Outside of BME< I am a member of Engineers Without Borders’ Menstrual Health sub-team as well as SHPE. I absolutely love nature; I have tons of plants and take hiking trips all the time!

Kien Le

Hi, my name is Kien Le. I am a third-year electrical engineering student, concentrating in Digital Signal Processing and Circuit Tech. For hobbies, I enjoy climbing/bouldering and playing badminton, as well as working on my personal project, a robotic arm that runs along a linear rail system. In my free time, I enjoy eating a lot. I will eat at any opportunity at new places that interest me.

Henry Garcia

I am a third-year undergraduate student in electrical engineering. Outside of the shop, I work on personal projects, play in the orchestra on campus, and am part of a VIP called Retrofuturistic Hardware. In my free time, I enjoy composing music, hiking, and trying out new restaurants.

Gloria Gao

Hi, I’m a third-year biomedical engineering undergrad with a minor in CS and devices, and I’m interested in embedded and MEMS device design. For research, I study T-cell mechanics and transfection with microfluidic devices. I love anything art related, and like to draw and crochet in my free time.

Cole Malenich

I am a 5th-year BS/MS student in BME, focusing on mechanical design for industrial applications. In my free time, I run a 3D-printing business focused on providing high-fidelity training aides to combat medics and EMTs. I enjoy playing guitar, watching movies, being outdoors, and just about anything to do with soccer.
